James-Lange somatic theory of emotion: a peripheral-feedback theory of emotion stating that an eliciting stimulus triggers a behavioural response that sends different sensory and motor feedback to the brain and creates the feeling of a specific emotion

joint attention: usually refers to the attention of an infant and adult to the same object or event

judgement: the drawing of a conclusion, usually probabilistic, from a combination of knowledge and observation

just world hypothesis:  Lerner’s idea that people have the belief that others get what they deserve. People try to maintain this just world belief
